As with our Co-location and Telehousing services, your website is hosted on best of breed equipment and housed in specialised telecommunications facilities, offering physical access control, climate control, redundant power supplies, conditioned and uninterruptible power supply, and a backup diesel-powered generator.

A direct connection to the Internet backbone via Ethernet into a high performance national network ensures your websites are instantly accessible around the world.

Web Hosting Plans

Domain Only

This service is ideal for customers who want to host their domain name with us, or simply secure their domain name and park it until they are ready to do something with it. A parked domain name can also be used to host a second domain name, which in turn has the www reference pointed to an existing domain name. For example: www.yourcompany.com may be parked and the www reference pointed at www.yourcompany.com.au.

• Management of domain renewal (exclude Domain Renewals charges. See Domain Name Services for more information

Redirection

Redirection plans allow you to have one or more domain names hosted with Gigabit IT but have your actual web page and email facilities located elsewhere. This could be useful for redirecting your domain name to a free web hosting provider.

Four different plans provide flexibility in choosing the product to suit you;

Entry Web Plus

This package is ideal for small to medium businesses. This hosting package can be linked to a domain name. Ie: www.yourcompany.com.au

• 10 Email Boxes with email aliases, auto responders, auto forwarders
• 100Mb of web storage
• Support for Microsoft FrontPage Extensions
• Private FTP for uploading of site
• Detailed statistics

Email Only (30)

This service is designed for businesses that need to have email but do not have a dedicated email server at their premises. Gigabit IT provides a HTML interface for you to manage your own email accounts or you can request this to be done through the Gigabit IT Support Centre.

The service offers up to 30 email addresses. All mail boxes include email aliases, auto responders, auto forwarders. Email can be forwarded to a mail server on your premises or to your local ISP email address.

There is no web presence included in this package.  However, you can upgrade to a hosting package which includes a web site at a later date. The prices listed here exclude domain name charges.

Entry Web Plus

This package is ideal for small to medium businesses. This hosting package can be linked to a domain name. Ie: www.yourcompany.com.au

This package provides you with an All-In-One, outsourced hosting and management service for your AusSoft WebComm website.

Gigabit IT liaise directly with AusSoft during the setup phase to obtain your website for transfer to our servers.

Gigabit IT also manage periodic website updates as supplied by AusSoft and liaise directly with AusSoft to ensure smooth implementation.

Your only job is to manage the content on your website using the WebComm Administration system.

AusSoft WebComm Hosting 2

Includes:

• Fully functional WebComm Environment
• 500MB of allocated storage (Includes database & web storage)
• 1,000MB of web traffic from the site each month
• Indexing server capability
• IFilter for indexing PDF documents

All AusSoft product updates are managed by Gigabit IT. Customers will be notified in advance of updates to ensure no one is accessing the administration system during this time.

Dedicated Server Pack 1

The Gigabit IT Dedicated Server, is your own personal server hosted at Gigabit IT. All equipment is supplied by Gigabit IT.

Includes:

• Best of Breed rack mounted Xeon server with single 160GB SATA Hard Disk, Gigabit Ethernet Card, 1GB Memory
• Can be configured to your specifications as required.
• 100 Email Boxes with email aliases, auto responders, auto forwarders
• Includes Windows Server 2003 Operating System with IIS 6.0
• Option for leasing a wide range of server software
• 2000Mb of data transfer from the server each month
• Detailed statistics
